Cali

Cali, one of the hardest hit

Cali was not the only city hit, but it was one of the hardest hit. The next day, the official report counted almost a hundred people dead, hundreds injured and dozens trapped under the rubble. And something the numbers can't capture: neighbors who started digging with their bare hands, without waiting for anyone to arrive.

Voices from Cali

Who you are helping.

Aid is arriving today: food, water, tools, collection centers. And that is wonderful. But there is one emergency nobody is solving today: shelter.

Housing subsidies exist. But weeks pass between the promise and the reality. Sometimes months. Meanwhile, there is one question that cannot wait.

Where will they sleep tonight?

The foundation, face to face

We talked to the people who receive every peso.

Miguel speaks with the director of Fundación Súmate Nuevos Comienzos about exactly where the money goes: who receives it, what it turns into and when it arrives.

The ask

Give a roof. To a real family. Tonight.

Last night there were grandparents sleeping in the open and children with no roof over their heads. Not tomorrow, not when the subsidy arrives: today. That's why 100% of what is raised goes straight to Fundación Súmate Nuevos Comienzos, a legally registered Colombian foundation. Not a single peso stays with us. We are not selling you anything. We are only asking that, if you can, you help a family sleep under a real roof this week.
